Important terms
Regimental - used to describe the wearing of a kilt without underwear. Pants without underwear is "commando". A kilt without underwear is "regimental".

Sporran - Gaelic for "purse". It is a pouch that performs the same function as pockets on the pocketless kilt. Made of leather or fur, the sporran is worn on a chain or hung from a kilt belt, conventionally lying in front of the naughty bits.
